This is a lawsuit brought by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) against Dell Australia, and in June this year, a federal court found that Dell Australia made a false statement about the price or discount of the monitor on its website.

Dell Australia reportedly sold more than 5300 monitors at exaggerated discounts between August 2019 and December 16, 2021.

"We will work with affected customers to provide appropriate refunds plus interest and take steps to improve our pricing process to ensure that this error does not happen again," a Dell Australia spokesman said in a statement to Reuters. "
