CTOnews.com, August 15 (Xinhua)-- A data miner named Aquarius recently issued a reminder in the "CS:GO" game community that Valve's online shooter game has a security vulnerability that could reveal players'IP addresses.

Aquarius tweeted on Aug. 12 that there is already evidence that players'IP addresses can be found in "CS:GO" game mode.

Aquarius also admits that the success rate of this attack is not high, but it is recommended that players minimize the "CS:GO" online and have reported the problem to the Valve development team.

CTOnews.com note: after additional investigation with another community member, Aquarius closed the vulnerability report on the evening of August 14, saying that "the vulnerability cannot be exploited or can only be exploited in an isolated or non-reproducible manner."
