Fisker announces adoption of Tesla NACS charging interface in 2025
CTOnews.com, August 15 (Xinhua)-- Fisker, a new force in American car building, announced today that the brand has signed an agreement with Tesla to adopt the North American charging Standard (NACS) on its models in the first quarter of 2025.
Like other automakers that adopt the NACS standard, Fisker said it will provide NACS adapters for its existing CCS models, so that existing models can also use the Tesla supercharging station in North America through the adapter.
In addition, Fisker also said that it will retain the CCS interface to make it easier for users to continue to use the CCS charging network. Fisker has said it will deliver its second model, the Pear, in 2025, which means that Pear's production models will be equipped with NACS ports.
CTOnews.com inquiry found that Ford, General Motors, Volvo, Mercedes and other companies have announced to join Tesla NACS network, it is expected that there will be more car companies to join.
