The battle for generative AI talent begins: the number of jobs quadrupled, with a maximum annual salary of $900,000

CTOnews.com, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) according to a Wall Street report, the number of jobs related to generative AI has quadrupled since the beginning of the year, based on recruitment site Indeed statistics.

It is reported that there is a shortage of talent in the generative AI industry, and many companies, including Amazon, Netflix and Meta, have increased their recruitment numbers and offers six-figure salaries in order to attract experienced AI experts.

Among them, Netflix recruited artificial intelligence product manager positions because of the strike of actors and writers, offering a sky-high salary of $900000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 6.57 million yuan).

Dating site Hinge plans to hire a vice president of artificial intelligence with an annual salary of $398000 (currently about 2.905 million yuan); Amazon has launched a recruitment position for a senior manager of applied science and generation artificial intelligence with an annual salary of up to $340300 (currently about 2.484 million yuan).

Capital One has released a list of outstanding engineers in generative artificial intelligence, offering salaries of up to $325700 (currently about 2.378 million yuan).

Wal-Mart is looking for a senior manager for its conversational artificial intelligence platform with an annual salary of between $168000 and $252000 (currently about 1.226 million to 1.84 million yuan).
