Foreign media said that the three USB-C components in the photo contain additional IC, and after magnification, it can be found that the IC is a Retimer chip. This indicates that several models of the iPhone 15 series will support the 40Gbps high-speed data transmission of Lightning 4.

Foreign media claimed that they had examined at least three leaked photos (from well-known digital bloggers Kosutami, Majin Bu, lipilipsi, etc.) on the ▲ ChargerLab website, and they found obvious Retimer chips in all the photos. Foreign media believed that at least three iPhone 15 models would use the USB-C interface with lightning 4 40Gbps high-speed data transmission capability.
