Ryan McCaffrey, editor-in-chief of IGN, recently posted a post on the X platform, sharing his experience of playing Diablo IV, which mentioned that "although it has been a long wait from three to four generations, I am very happy to experience such a very interesting, deep and repeatable game work."

Blizzard President Mike Ybarra then thanked Blizzard for his approval in a comment and said: "the release interval of future releases will not be as long as before, even though we have prepared more wonderful follow-up content for Diablo 4."

The interval is nearly 11 years.
