MediaTek's new Wi-Fi 7 chip Filogic 360 has passed the certification.
CTOnews.com August 16 news, MediaTek's new Wi-Fi 7 chip Filogic 360 has now passed the Wi-Fi Alliance certification and is expected to be installed on the new Wi-Fi 7 terminal equipment.
As previously reported by IT House, MediaTek released Filogic 880s and Filogic 380s in May 2022, using 6nm technology, which officials say is the first Wi-Fi 7 solution in the industry. Among them, Filogic 380s are used in consumer electronic terminal devices and can bring Wi-Fi-7 and Bluetooth 5.3 support to smartphones, tablets, TVs, laptops, set-top boxes and OTT TV bars.
Filogic 380s support dual-frequency, dual-concurrency, and can reach the peak Wi-Fi 7 speed of 6.5Gbps. In addition, the chip supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 technologies, such as 360MHz bandwidth support, 4096-QAM, MLO and MRU.
