CTOnews.com August 17, CodeWeavers released a beta version of CrossOver 23 in June this year, with emphasis on adding support for DirectX 12 to better simulate and run Windows games on Mac.

The company issued a press release today, announcing the official release of CrossOver 23 stable Edition. Among the many new features, the most noteworthy improvement is the addition of initial support for DirectX 12.

Developers can call DirectX 12 in CrossOver 23 and call all GPU cores at the same time during the simulation of the game to achieve better rendering results.

CTOnews.com checked the official press release and found that only a few DirectX 12 games such as Diablo 2 Resurrected and Diablo 4 were adapted.

The CodeWeivers team said it would continue to improve and add more support for DirectX 12 games in the future.

In addition to DirectX 12 support, CrossOver 23 also implements geometric shader and transform feedback support, which solves the problem of lack of graphics or black screen in some games.
