CTOnews.com August 17 news, news source @ Jiecheng Ansui-YuuKi_AnS recently tweeted on the X (Twitter) platform, sharing the E-core only Xeon series specifications.

The tweet has exposed two versions of the Sierra Forest processor, which will compete head-on with AMD's Bergamo processor after it goes on sale.

Tweets show that the two processors have entered the A0 phase, and Intel plans to launch Sierra Forest in the first half of 2024.

Sierra Forest will adopt the "Intel3" process node, use the Crestmont core, and is the successor to the Gracemont used on the current Alder Lake and Raptor Lake.

It is worth noting that Sierra Forest is a completely different series from Emerald Rapids/ Granite Rapids, with only E cores.

Intel plans to launch Clearwater Forest CPU based on the "Intel 18A" (1.8nm) process in 2025.
