NetEase announced the establishment of T-MINUS ZERO ENTERTAINMENT Studio, led by MMO veteran Rich Vogel
CTOnews.com NetEase Games announced the launch of a new studio in Austin, Texas, led by MMO veteran Rich Vogel, in addition to other developers such as Mark Tucker, Scott Malone and Jeff Dobson.
The company is reportedly currently working on an original third-person multiplayer action game set in a sci-fi universe, but CTOnews.com hasn't seen any details yet.
Rich Vogel has previously served as head of several studios, including Sony Online Entertainment Austin, BioWare Austin and Bethesda Game Studios Austin.
He has previously led the development of a number of games, including Meridian 59, Ultima Online, Star Wars: Galaxy and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Other founders of T-Minus Zero include game director Mark Tucker (Fallout 76, Doom, Red Alliance), artistic director Jeff Dobson (Star Wars: The Old Republic, Dragon Age: Judgement, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Anthem), and vice president of operations and production Scott Malone (Fallout 76, Doom, The Elder Scrolls Online).
Although the studio is located in Austin, T-Minus Zero takes a telecommuting first approach and is actively recruiting.
