Lamborghini Lanzador electric vehicle rendering exposed

CTOnews.com August 18 news, the Italian luxury sports car brand Lamborghini recently issued a notice that it will show off its first pure electric sports car at Monterrey Automobile week today.

Foreign technology media 91Mobile recently reported that the pure electric sports car is called "Lanzador", which means "pitcher" or "thrower" in Spain.

According to the Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the new car will be a 2x2 "high-performance luxury station wagon" (grand tourer), which is more suitable for daily use than the Huracan or the new Revuelto.

The car will use the new platform SSP Sport, led by Porsche, and is scheduled to go on sale in 2028.

According to Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini design director, the new car "will retain 100% of Lamborghini design genes", and Lamborghini's Aventador, Huracan and SUV models Urus will be electrified in the future.
