Netflix also said that users will select CDs based on the movies listed in the user's movie queue, adding: "you won't know if there are additional envelopes to send you until they reach your mailbox."

However, foreign media Vulture claimed that users could not keep the extra DVD, and Netflix only waived the "rental fee" for the 10 CDs. "Netflix still hopes to return these DVD and other CDs by October 27, 2023."
