The son of the director of the classic animation Snow White: against the remake, Disney's idea is too radical

CTOnews.com, Aug. 19 (Xinhua)-- David Dode hand (David Dodd Hand), the son of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, told the Daily Telegraph that he was very opposed to the remake. I mean, it's a completely different concept, and I totally disagree with it, and I know my father and Walt (the founder of the Walt Disney Company) would very much disagree with it. "

CTOnews.com noted that David Hale Hand called it a "shame" that Disney was "trying to do something new with something that was hugely successful." He added: "I'm worried about what they will do to early films."... their ideas are too radical now. "

He urged studio owners to focus on new ideas rather than on remaking old hits, arguing that they "should not adopt the classic and rewrite it in their own image. Choose something else. create new characters if you want to do this, but don't destroy or try to destroy classics and beautiful things.

It is worth mentioning that the 22-year-old star Rachel Zegler recently sparked a heated debate, calling the original version "extremely outdated" and comparing the prince's behavior to a "stalker". She also hinted at a radical revision of the story to make Snow White "an excellent leader". "she won't be saved by the prince, and she won't dream of true love," she said.
