CTOnews.com August 20 news, Zach Schneider science fiction film new film "Moon Rebels" will release its first trailer at Cologne Game Show on August 22, landing on Netflix on December 22.

CTOnews.com notes that Moon Rebels stars Sophia Potra (Star Trek 3), Jermaine Hansu (Captain Marvel, Silent Place 2), Ed Schlin (Deadpool), Mitchell Hasman, Pee Doona, Ray Fisher (Justice League), and Charlie Hannan and Anthony Hopkins voice "Jimmy." The film was directed by Zach Schneider and written by Schneider, Kurt Johanstad and Shea Harten. Producers are Deborah Schneider, Eric Newman, Zach Schneider and Wesley Kohler. Executive producers include Bergen Swanson, Sarah Bowen, Shea Harten and Kurt Johnstad.

The storyline of Moon Rebels revolves around the threat of evil imperial forces to the moon of Vilter in a universe controlled by a corrupt government in the Mother World. Cora, played by Butera, seeks redemption for her past ties to the Empire, recruiting fighters across the galaxy to fight the armies of her home world.
