The HDR10+ GAMING standard provides players with deeper contrast, richer colors and more balanced brightness, as well as accurate presentation of details in dark shadows and highlighted areas. Other advantages of the HDR10 + GAMING standard include near-instant response, low latency, support for variable refresh rates, and so on.

According to CTOnews.com, Samsung co-founded HDR10+ Technologies LLC with other companies in 2018 and opened it for free, and HDR10+ became a free alternative to Dolby Vision. As a result of this, the HDR10 + ecosystem has grown to 155 partners and more than 7000 certified devices.

Hyun Kim, vice president and executive vice president of NEXON business development, said: "by adopting the HDR10 + GAMING standard, we have brought games to life in a way that was not possible before. The first Descendants game will start a public test on September 19, but unfortunately, Chinese players will not be able to take the test for the time being.
