CTOnews.com August 21 news, GAC Eian announced that 100 AION Y Plus are ready for departure in Guangzhou Nansha Port, and the first batch of export vehicles will be shipped to Linchaban Port, Thailand. This is the first time that GAC Eian has shipped the whole vehicle to overseas markets.

CTOnews.com learned from Ean that the AION Y Plus model is a right rudder overseas version tailored for the Thai market and has been certified by the Thai Ministry of Land Transport (DLT). In June this year, GAC Ean signed a memorandum of cooperation with the first distributor in Thailand, and Guan Xuan entered the Thai market.

In July, a delegation from Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) paid a return visit to GAC Eian, where the two sides held in-depth discussions on localized production and investment.

It is worth mentioning that the 2023 AION Y Plus went on sale in April this year, with a price range of 119800 yuan to 153800 yuan. The appearance of the car is not greatly adjusted, the length, width and height are respectively 4535/1870/1650mm, wheelbase 2750mm; motor maximum power 100/150kW, maximum torque 176/225kW, built-in 51.9/61.7/69.98kWh battery, maximum life 610km.
