Tokyo's first BYD showroom opened on August 26, and dolphins, seals and other models will hit the Japanese market one after another.

CTOnews.com, August 21 (Xinhua)-- BYD AUTO Ikebukuro, BYD's first showroom in Tokyo, Japan, will open on August 26, with an "opening exhibition" from August 26 to September 10, BYD announced tonight.

The exhibition hall is located in a "prime location" in Tokyo's Toshima district-2km from Ikebukuro station and only a five-minute walk from the subway Chikawa station, officials said.

The BYD showroom in Tokyo will display ATTO 3 models corresponding to the domestic yuan PLUS, and officials say two new cars, the BYD DOLPHIN and the SEAL, will also be launched one after another.

BYD also said that so far, BYD has opened 10 showrooms in Japan, which will be committed to making Japanese consumers "feel the excellent performance and unique design of new energy vehicles". And let BYD electric cars into the daily lives of Japanese consumers.

CTOnews.com previously reported that BYD opened its first Japanese store in Yokohama, Japan, in February, and the company aims to open more than 100 showrooms across Japan by the end of 2025. As of July 31 this year, BYD has 47 stores in camp and planned in Japan. In addition, BYD plans to open two stores in Zuli and Hiroshima in early September.
