However, a cat furniture manufacturer named Hulumao purring Cat recently complained to Tesla that the cat nest copied its product design, and that the overall designs of the two products are very similar except for different brands.

Hulumao Snoring Cat launched the corrugated cat nest in 2017, six years before Tesla, and the company has won a number of design awards for its design.

Hulumao joked publicly on its official Instagram: "Thank Musk for using the Tesla brand to promote our products, but to be clear, we have never authorized it to you."

Hsiao Shih, founder of Hulumao, also said that in the face of Tesla, "I don't think there is anything I can do in the end. I at least hope Tesla can give me an explanation (to pay the relevant licensing fees)."
