CTOnews.com August 23 news, Qualcomm today released the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 Android handset processor, CPU performance is 30% higher than its previous generation, while GPU performance is doubled.

According to reports, this processor can provide support for handheld devices with cross-platform gaming functions, as well as devices for Android, PC and cloud games. The chip is also powerful enough to support ray tracing and allow users to broadcast live during games. To ensure smooth cloud and remote gaming sessions, the chip is equipped with WiFi 7 and 5G millimeter wave connections.

Pictured above is Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 handset reference design, which is equipped with 12GB LPDDR5x memory and 256GB UFS4.0 storage, supports NVMe expansion, and has a 6.8inch FHD+ 144Hz screen.

Qualcomm said that AyaNeo, Huaqin, Inventec and other manufacturers are working with Qualcomm to launch products with this processor.
