CTOnews.com August 26, AMD announced today that FSR 3 will be launched this fall, with the launch of "the Legend of the Immortal" and "Forspoken".

In addition, AMD announced 10 more games that will support FSR 3 in the future, including Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth Wukong.

AMD confirms that FSR 3 supports Radeon RX 7000, 6000 and older models and is recommended for RX 6000 and later models. In addition, Nvidia RTX 20 and above graphics cards will also support FSR 3, RTX 30 and newer models are recommended.

Many older graphics cards, such as the AMD RX 590 and Nvidia GTX 10 series, shown in the figure below, also support some of the features of FSR 3 and do not support the latest frame generation features.

As previously reported by IT House, FSR 3 introduced frame generation technology to compete with Nvidia's DLSS3. As shown in the following figure, when FSR 3 is turned on, the number of game frames of "Forspoken" has been increased from 4K 53fps to 4K 85fps.
