CTOnews.com August 29 news, in the beta version of Android 14, Google added a new accessibility feature that allows users to receive notifications or alarms through the screen or camera LED flashing to send out reminders. This feature is similar to the LED flash alert on Apple devices, but more flexible and personalized.

To enable this feature, users need to select the desired option in Settings> Accessibility> Flash Alert, where users can select Camera Flash, Screen Flash, or both. The camera flash will cause the rear camera flash to flash twice when it receives notifications, which is suitable for locking the phone screen or facing down. Screen flash causes the screen to turn yellow and flash twice, suitable for the case where the phone is facing up.

CTOnews.com notes that users can also customize the color of the screen flash, with 12 colors to choose from, and users can see the effect of the settings through the preview button at the bottom left.

At present, this feature is only available to users who have installed Android 14 beta, and Google will release the official version of Android 14 in the near future.
