CTOnews.com August 29 news, BOSS Direct Employment issued an interim results announcement for the six months ended June 30, 2023, with operating income of 2.765 billion yuan, an increase of 22.9% over the same period last year, operating profit of 97.73 million yuan, an increase of 33.8% over the same period last year, pre-tax profit of 384 million yuan, an increase of 306.3% over the same period last year, and net profit of 342 million yuan, an increase of 326.1% over the same period last year. The adjusted net profit was 813 million yuan, an increase of 123.9% over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com noted that the average number of monthly active users in the first half of the year was 41.7 million, up 61% from the same period last year; the average number of daily active users / monthly active users in the first half of the year reached 26.8%, which was basically the same as in the first half of 2022.

The marketing expenses of BOSS Direct hire in the first half of the year were 1.1 billion yuan, up 19.4 percent from the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in employee-related expenses, brand advertising fees and customer acquisition costs; R & D expenses were 699 million yuan, up 16.8 percent from the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in equity incentive fees; and general and administrative expenses were 368 million yuan, up 16.3 percent from the same period last year.
