CTOnews.com, August 30 (Xinhua)-- Apple also released visionOS Beta 3 after releasing iOS 17 Beta 8 and other software updates to developers. Although the new Apple Vision Pro device won't be available until 2024, some developers have been invited to try the device in advance.

VisionOS is the operating system of Apple Vision Pro, which allows users to see augmented reality through headers. VisionOS's Software Development Kit (SDK) was released on June 21, allowing developers to experience the interface and functionality of visionOS through simulators on Mac. On July 25, Apple released a second beta version of visionOS and began accepting applications from developers who wanted to get a Vision Pro developer kit. Now, the third beta is available to developers who are lucky enough to get Apple Vision Pro.

It's not clear what's new with the latest visionOS beta, as testing of new devices is very limited and developers are not allowed to share details of their experiences. The version number of visionOS Beta 2 is 21N5207f, while the new version is 21N5233f.

Apple's Vision Pro, which starts at $3499 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 25508 yuan), will be available in the United States in early 2024 and in other countries later.
