New feature of Microsoft SharePoint: the ability to send news content to the target by email
CTOnews.com, August 30, Microsoft today issued a press release announcing the introduction of new features for SharePoint services that allow enterprises to dynamically convert news into e-mail and send it to interested users with topics such as newsletters, security bulletins, warnings, and so on.
Microsoft said in a press release that editors and operators responsible for creating SharePoint news articles can choose the "Made for email" template in the new version, which can be sent by e-mail after the news content is completed.
CTOnews.com translated parts of Microsoft's press release as follows:
Sending a page as an e-mail does not change existing site permissions, and sending a page as an e-mail does not give the recipient access to an initial page that has not yet been obtained.
You can imagine sending an excerpt via email, like showing someone a page of a book to attract the other person to read the full text.
This feature has currently invited SharePoint Targeted Release users to experience, and is expected to be available to all SharePoint users by the end of September.
