On the evening of August 30, Midea Group released its semi-annual performance report for 2023.

The report shows that the total operating income of Midea Group in the first half of the year reached 197.8 billion yuan, of which the total revenue in the second quarter reached 101.2 billion yuan, setting a record high for the revenue of a single quarter in the United States.

During the reporting period, Midea Group realized a total operating income of 197.8 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 7.69%, and a net profit of more than 18.2 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 13.98%. Among them, the net operating cash flow in the first half of the year exceeded 29.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.22%.

U.S. industrial technology revenue for the reporting period was 13.6 billion yuan, up 12% year-on-year, building technology revenue for the reporting period was 14.8 billion yuan, up 21% year-on-year, and robotics and automation revenue for the reporting period was 15.2 billion yuan, up 24% year-on-year.

It is said that Midea continues to take the lead in the field of smart home. In the first half of the year, Midea products ranked first in the domestic online and offline market share of 7 categories such as household air conditioner, desktop pan-microwave, desktop oven, electric heater, induction cooker, electric kettle and electric fan. Among them, the proportion of e-commerce sales in the United States reached more than 48%(including e-commerce sinking), deepening the layout of interest e-commerce platform and realizing new growth.

In the first half of the year, the overseas revenue of the United States accounted for 40.88%, and the gross profit margin of overseas business increased by 3.3%.
