According to news from CTOnews.com on August 31, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering announced the list of effective candidates for the co-election of academicians in 2023 on their official website today.

After deliberation at the 10th meeting of the presidium of the academic Department of the Ninth Chinese Academy of Sciences, the leading party group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences confirmed that 583 additional effective candidates would be selected for academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2023. In accordance with the provisions of the measures for the implementation of the co-election of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (for trial implementation), the list of valid candidates is now published.

After deliberation at the sixth meeting of the eighth Presidium of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and examined by the leading Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 655 additional effective candidates were confirmed by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2023. In accordance with the provisions of the measures for the implementation of the co-election of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the list of valid candidates is now published.
