Ford Motor made an offer to the UAW union to raise the hourly worker's salary by 15% and the annual salary plus bonus to $92,000.

CTOnews.com, September 2, Ford officially issued a press release announcing a huge contract offer to the United Auto Workers (UAW) to provide hourly workers with a 15 per cent guaranteed pay rise and a lump sum payment, and to increase benefits during the contract period. Only 2%-3% of Ford's hourly workers are temporary workers.

Hourly wages (including overtime pay) and one-time bonuses for hourly workers represented by the Ford Motor Union will increase from an average of $78000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 567000 yuan) in 2022 to $92000 (currently about 669000 yuan) in the first year of the contract.

In addition to wages and bonuses, workers will receive health insurance worth $17500 and other benefits worth $20500 in the first year.

In the first year alone, Ford's full-time permanent employees received a maximum salary of $98000, including salary, cost-of-living adjustment bonus, approved bonus, profit sharing and overtime pay.
