CTOnews.com Sept. 3 News, Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued a "notice on matters related to the time-sharing electricity price policy for residents' electric vehicle charging piles" (CTOnews.com hereinafter referred to as "notice").

According to the notice, starting from October 1 this year, the time-sharing electricity price of electric vehicles will be increased by 0.05 yuan per kilowatt-hour during the peak period during the day and 0.2 yuan per kilowatt-hour during the night trough.

After adjustment, the peak electricity price of Shaanxi power grid (excluding Yulin area) is 0.5609 yuan / KWh, the trough electricity price is 0.3109 yuan / KWh;, the peak electricity price of Shaanxi power grid (Yulin area) is 0.5473 yuan / KWh, and the trough electricity price is 0.2973 yuan / KWh.

It is worth mentioning that this adjustment is only applicable to electric vehicle charging piles set up by power grid enterprises directly reading meters and charging to households in residential homes, residential communities, and non-resident users who implement residential electricity prices.

Peak hours: 7:00-23:00, trough: 2300-7:00 the next day.

III. Electricity price standard

Based on the implementation of the non-resident electricity price standard of residential electricity price, the electricity price is increased by 0.05 yuan per kilowatt-hour during peak hours and 0.2 yuan per kilowatt-hour during trough periods.

The electricity price of Shaanxi power grid (excluding Yulin area) is 0.5609 yuan per kilowatt-hour during peak period and 0.3109 yuan per kilowatt-hour during trough period; the electricity price of Shaanxi power grid (Yulin area) is 0.5473 yuan per kilowatt-hour during peak period and 0.2973 yuan per kilowatt-hour during trough period.

IV. Relevant requirements

(1) the electricity consumption of charging piles for residential electric vehicles shall, in principle, be measured by a separate household meter. Electric vehicle charging piles for residents who directly read meters and charge to households by power grid enterprises, and time-sharing watt-hour meters are installed and replaced free of charge by power grid enterprises.

(2) Development and reform departments and power grid enterprises in various localities should do a good job in policy publicity and interpretation and effect tracking to ensure the smooth implementation of the time-of-use electricity price policy for electric vehicle charging piles for residents.
