The game call of Duty planned to develop a third-person "cinematic narrative" series with a style similar to "mysterious Sea".

Bret Robbins, a screenshot developer of ▲ 's PS5 version of the game Mystery Sea: a Collection of Thieves, recently revealed in an interview with foreign media Fandomwire that Sledgehammer Studios (sledgehammer Studio) had planned to develop a style similar to "Mystery Sea", providing a cinematic, third-person, dark and heavy "call of Duty" game.

It is reported that the game, set in Vietnam and codenamed "Fog of War", had produced a "15-minute playable demo" by the time the game was cut, but the game came to nothing as the studio shifted its focus to call of Duty: world War II.

In the interview, Bret Robbins also revealed that there was an initial plot sequel to call of Duty: advanced Warfare. In fact, the game itself has already been produced, but it is only in the demonstration and prototype stage, and there has been no more since.

CTOnews.com learned that Sledgehammer Studios is currently focusing on call of Duty: modern Warfare III 2023, which is expected to be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC on November 10.
