MSI AM5 motherboard upgrade BIOS support high frequency memory: X670E support to DDR5-8000
CTOnews.com Sept. 5 news, Weixing in early August this year for its AM5 motherboard launched AGESA 1.0.0.7c BIOS firmware, support higher frequency memory. Now, MSI has released a list of the memory frequencies supported by each motherboard.
As shown in the picture above, MSI's two flagship models, the X670E Ares and Supergod, support the highest DDR5-8000 memory sticks on the market, the B650E can support up to DDR5-7800, and the entry-level A620 can also support DDR5-6800.
Users who need it can search their motherboard models on MSI's website to download the latest BIOS.
According to IT House, the price of DDR5 high-frequency memory has dropped sharply since it was first launched, with the flagship DDR5-8000 16G*2 set down from 4000 yuan at its debut to about 3000 yuan.
