After the success of Baird's Gate 3, Larian is already developing his next game.
CTOnews.com Sept. 6 news, after the successful launch of "Baird Gate 3", Larian Studio is not satisfied with the status quo. Studio director Swen Vincke revealed in an interview that the team is already working on the next project.
According to a video interview posted on the Dungeons and Dragons YouTube account, Vincke said he was busy working on the next game. He also mentioned that the PS5 version of Baird's Gate 3 had been "produced and uploaded".
Since the launch of the pre-emptive experience in 2020, Baird's Gate 3 has been a popular game at the Belgian studio. According to CTOnews.com, Baird's Gate 3 currently has an average score of 96 on Metacritic, making it one of the highest rated games of the year. According to SteamDB, the game had 875343 concurrent players at its peak on August 13.
Despite the success of the game, Vincke admitted that they were worried about poor reviews of the game before the release, or that there would be too much Bug at the time of the release.
Baird's Gate 3 received its second large PC patch last week, with some extra short stories and a lot of Bug fixes.
Although Larian Studios did not disclose details of the next project, Vincke previously confirmed in an interview with IGN that the team would return to the Divine World: original Sin project "at some point", but not until the team had a rest after the completion of Baird Gate 3.
