YN690EX-RT uses Type-C direct charge design, equipped with 2000mAh high-capacity lithium battery, full-power flash times up to 600 times, known as "all-optical output return time only 1 second".

The flash is equipped with a LCD screen to support real-time display of the remaining power. The battery has built-in overcharge protection and short circuit protection overheat protection circuit.
