CTOnews.com Sept. 6 news, Asustek recently released patches for RT-AX55, RT-AX56U_V2 and RT-AC86U routers, fixing three security vulnerabilities that an attacker could remotely execute arbitrary malicious code.

CTOnews.com hereby recommends that users using the above Asustek router go to Asustek's official website to download security updates as soon as possible, otherwise the equipment is at risk of being hijacked.

These three WiFi routers are popular high-end models in the consumer network market and are currently available on the Asustek website and are favored by gamers and performance-demanding users. The vulnerability exposed this time allows attackers to remotely execute arbitrary code, interrupt services, or other arbitrary operations without authentication.

It is recommended that users of the above routers install the following firmware as soon as possible:

RT-AX55: 3.0.0.4.386_51948 or later

RT-AX56U_V2: 3.0.0.4.386_51948 or later

RT-AC86U: 3.0.0.4.386_51915 or later
