CTOnews.com, Sept. 6 (Xinhua)-- Hasbro has released a new Transformers mash-up inspired by the 1931 classic Frankenstein.

As can be seen from the picture, the design of the toy is similar to Frankenstein's stitched monster, which has been officially named "Frankentron".

According to reports, many of its design details are inspired by Boris Karloff's iconic portrayal of Frankenstein monsters. Even Frankenstein's weapons are based on the laboratory equipment of Dr. Frankenstein in the movie. At the same time, the design of the package mimics the classic VHS cassette.

The Franken Turn toy is priced at $44.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 328 yuan) and is expected to be released in the fall of 2023.
