Google Chrome browser will introduce non-linear zoom function to improve the readability of small fonts
CTOnews.com, September 6 (Xinhua)-- Google browser (Chrome) will introduce a new accessibility feature, nonlinear scaling (non-linear zoom), which makes smaller fonts on the screen larger than larger fonts.
Non-linear scaling will first be available on Google browser on Android, making it easier for users to read small fonts without zooming the entire page.
This feature was discovered by Microsoft enthusiast @ Leopeva64, and non-linear scaling can also be customized: on Google browser on Android, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen. Select settings, scroll down, and click accessibility. You will see a new feature that can adjust the scaling between large and small fonts.
CTOnews.com notes that the feature will currently be available only on Android and is expected to be released in the next few weeks.
