According to previous revelations, Lumix G9II will upgrade its sensor and image anti-shake function to add phase focus, making it Panasonic's first M43 camera with phase focus.

As previously reported by IT House, Panasonic launched the G9 flagship M43 camera in 2017, equipped with a 2030 megapixel digital Live MOS sensor with AR coating, fast autofocus and AFC 20 fps / AFS 60 fps continuous shooting, smooth 4K 60p / 50p video recording, anti-shake effect up to 6.5m, as well as Dual IS 2.0 technology, a high-resolution handheld mode with 8000 megapixels.
