Honda: electric vehicles listed in North America from 2025 will adopt Tesla charging standard
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues about the past. CTOnews.com, September 7 (Xinhua)-- Honda said in a statement on September 7 that it had reached an agreement with Tesla that electric models listed in North America from 2025 would adopt the North American charging Standard (NACS), enabling its customers to use the Tesla supercharging station.
Honda has also promised to provide CCS Combo-to-NACS adapters by 2025 so that existing models (and upcoming models) can use Tesla's vast supercharging network. Before announcing the adoption of NACS, Honda partnered with BMW, GM, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Stellantis to set up a national electric vehicle charging network to compete with Tesla's charging network.
CTOnews.com noted that Ford, GM, Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and Fisker have all announced that they will adopt the Tesla charging standard.
