CTOnews.com, September 8 (Xinhua)-- Framework, which focuses on modular, maintainable and upgradeable experiences, recently launched Framework Mainboards, a motherboard with Intel's 11th-generation Tiger Lake processor that can meet the needs of users to build desktops and DIY projects, starting at $199.

When doing business with Compal, the company found a stock of finished and semi-finished motherboards pre-installed with Intel's 11th-generation processors, the Framework was tested and sold at a starting price of $199, officials said in a blog post.

The motherboard price of the Core i7-1165G7 model has been reduced from $699 to $299 (currently about 2192 yuan)

The price of the core i7-1185G7 motherboard has fallen from $1049 to $399 (currently about 2925 yuan).

These motherboards support 64 GB of DDR4 memory, PCIe 4.0 storage and four USB 4 ports. The motherboard also has radiators and fans, but no external chassis.
