Gu Huinan, general manager of EAA, said at the press conference that in the future, the brand will gradually achieve localized production, sales and services in Thailand, helping Thailand accelerate its development into the center of the electric vehicle industry in Southeast Asia.

According to the live broadcast of the ▲ Touyuan Ean press conference in Thailand, there are two versions of the Ian Y Plus model launched in Thailand: 490 Elite and 550Ultra, with prices of 106.99 million baht (CTOnews.com Note: current about 221000 yuan) and 129.99 million baht (currently about 269000 yuan).

CTOnews.com previously reported that 100 AION Y Plus were ready for departure at Nansha Port in Guangzhou on August 21, and the first batch of exported vehicles were shipped to Linchaban Port, Thailand. This is the first time that GAC EAN has shipped the whole vehicle to overseas markets.

The car is a right rudder overseas version tailor-made for the Thai market and has been certified by the Thai Ministry of Land Transport (DLT). In June this year, GAC Ean signed a memorandum of cooperation with the first distributor in Thailand, and Guan Xuan entered the Thai market.

In terms of domestic models, the 2023 AION Y Plus went on sale in April this year, with a price range of 119800 yuan to 153800 yuan. The length, width and height of the car are 4535/1870/1650mm, the wheelbase is 2750mm, the maximum power of the motor is 100/150kW, the maximum torque is 176 / 225N ·m, the built-in 51.9/61.7/69.98kWh battery and the highest 610km.
