Weekly physical Game sales list in the UK: starry Sky wins the championship

CTOnews.com, September 11 (Xinhua)-- although Starry Sky joined Game Pass on the day of its launch, it has achieved good results in physical game sales in the UK.

GamesIndustry.biz shared the latest week's UK physical game sales list on Sunday, showing that Star became the best-selling physical game in the UK in the week of its release.

Although no specific sales figures have been released, Starry Sky is not the highest-selling physical game in the UK in 2023, according to GamesIndustry.biz, with sales below Hogwarts Legend: tears of the Kingdom, Star Wars Jedi: survivors, biochemical Evil 4: remake, final Fantasy 16 and death Island 2.

Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft's games division, said last week that Star had more than 1 million simultaneous online players on its launch day. Star's official Twitter account later claimed that more than 6 million people had played the game by the end of the first day of its official launch, making it "the largest Bethesda game in history."

There were also a number of new games released with Starry Sky last week, with NBA 2K24 and Fae Farm debuting at No. 7 and 9, respectively, and the Great Hero beyond France: rolling Stone City (mainframe) ranked 22nd. Armored Core 6 fell from No. 5 to No. 20, with sales down 63%.
