CTOnews.com, September 13 (Xinhua)-- Apple announced at its curiosity conference today that it will phase out all plastic packaging and leather products by the end of 2024, and that most of the metal materials used will be recycled.

Apple said in a press release today that it would further promote decarbonization in the global supply chain. By 2030, more than 300 suppliers will use 100% clean energy to make Apple products.

CTOnews.com cited Apple press releases, including Jingmen GEM, the supplier responsible for providing key recycled materials for Apple products, and 14 new companies in China promised to use clean energy from April 2023.
