CTOnews.com, Sept. 14, according to the Washington Post, Apple has filed a protest with the court, arguing that Judge Amit Mehta should not publicly disclose the secret agreement reached between Apple and Google while hearing Google's antitrust case.

Apple issued a public statement on Tuesday protesting the court's disclosure of unspecified secret information. Apple's attorney Kenneth Dintzer believes that the agreement signed between Apple and Google is commercially confidential data and should be protected during the trial.

CTOnews.com checked the Washington Post report and found no exact data. But the deal should be a payment from Google to Apple to ensure that Google is the default search engine for Apple products such as iPhone.

The district attorney claimed that this was public information, not confidential. The judge accepted Apple's protest, but chose to proceed with the trial.
