CTOnews.com, September 14 (Xinhua)-- according to a post on ReactOS's official account X platform, a developer named "The_DirkFire__" successfully ran ReactOS on the AMD-driven Steam Deck game handset platform.

It is reported that the developer brought the UEFI support of ReactOS on the Steam Deck handset, which enabled the device to start the system successfully, but because ReactOS's binary compatibility with modern Windows games is still quite limited, especially the support for Windows device drivers is not in place, it is not suitable for any large games at the moment.

In addition, given the limited compatibility between ReactOS's device drivers and modern game executables, it is not entirely practical at this stage, so it is more technical in nature, but it is also a milestone for this open source project.
