Recently, Beijing Baidu Netcom Technology Co., Ltd. and Qualcomm Wireless Communications Technology (China) Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on non-binding strategic cooperation in Beijing to carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation in the field of XR. Through the announcement of this strategic cooperation, the two sides look forward to carrying out in-depth technological, market and ecological cooperation in the future, including XR technology, generative AI, digital human, industrial upstream and downstream coordination, etc., to jointly build a new generation metacosmos infrastructure platform around metacosmos + ecological + industrial applications. By integrating the Snapdragon Spaces ™XR developer platform and the innovative XR technology it supports, Baidu Xiyang will make use of its own virtual space, cloud and AI technology and platform advantages to jointly explore more extensive application and business solutions in literature, tourism, education, sports and other industries with Qualcomm China, so as to bring users a rich, vivid and diverse meta-universe experience and accelerate the emergence of new business type, new models and new scenes in China's meta-universe industry.
