After users activate this feature, their "liked content" will completely disappear from the data card from a third-party perspective.

Before that, Musk wrote on the platform last year that "liked content" should be private by default.

However, Musk's own likes are consistently public, and early this morning advised users to "keep it open" and said that if users encounter a favorite and interesting tweet, they suggest using the "bookmark" feature instead.

CTOnews.com previously reported that as of last month, August 15, third-party researcher Travis Brown disclosed that only about 94000 users had signed up for X Premium between July 1 and August 10, and that X had added about 16000 net new users a week over the past month and a half. Data show that at least 827615 users have subscribed to X Premium.

Musk previously posted that the X platform has 540 million monthly users. On a pro rata basis, only 0.15% of the total subscribers subscribe to X Premium.
