The scale of China's computing industry has reached 2.6 trillion yuan, with more than 20.91 million general-purpose servers and 820000 AI servers shipped in the past six years.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China's computing industry reached 2.6 trillion yuan in 2022 and shipped more than 20.91 million general-purpose servers and 820000 AI servers in the past six years. The number of effective invention patents in China ranks first in all industries.

In the next step, relevant departments in China will also strengthen technological innovation, focus on the computing industry chain, set up special tasks, and support new forms and new product research and development. We will thoroughly implement various policies on the computing industry, increase support for key areas and weak links of computing, and enhance core competitiveness.

The "China numeracy Development Index (2023)" released at the meeting of the China Institute of Information and Communication shows that the diversified development of numeracy in China continues to advance. It is expected that the global computing power will surpass 3ZFlops by 2025 and surpass 20ZFlops by 2030. The scale of global computing is expected to surpass 3ZFlops.

Zhao Zhiguo, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that advanced computing, represented by heterogeneous computing, intelligent computing, and quantum computing, has evolved to a critical stage of qualitative change, and the computing industry has shown strong vitality and inestimable potential.
