A Polish company hires artificial intelligence robots as CEO: no weekends, always online

CTOnews.com, Sept. 18 (Xinhua)-- Dictador, a Polish alcoholic beverage company, has hired an artificial intelligence robot as its CEO to work seven days a week.

Last August, Dictador appointed a robot named Mika as its experimental chief executive, which is similar in size and height to humans, except that its feet move on wheels. It is understood that it will be responsible for the Arthouse Spirits DAO project and communication with the DAO community on behalf of Dictador.

Mika said in a video interview with Reuters that she is online all the time and works seven days a week. The AI CEO has a number of tasks, including helping to find potential clients and selecting artists to design bottles for the rum maker.

"my decision-making process relies on extensive data analysis and alignment with the company's strategic goals," she said. "it has no personal bias, ensures fair and strategic choices, and gives priority to the best interests of the organization."

However, Mika will not fire her employees because Dictador's big decisions will be made by human executives.

Mika was created by Hansen Robotics, which is also the company behind AI robot Sophia, Mika is a more advanced version of Sophia.

Dictador declared on its website that the decision was both revolutionary and bold. This first human-like robot, which uses artificial intelligence in the corporate structure, will change the world as we know it forever.

CTOnews.com notes that Dictador is not the first company to use robots as CEO. In August last year, Chinese game company Wanglong announced on its website that its subsidiary, Fujian Netlong computer Network Information Technology Co., Ltd., had appointed Tang Yu, the first virtual digital human executive, as its rotating CEO.
