CTOnews.com queried X (Twitter) and Weibo, and many users complained that the new ringtone was too "low" and might not be perceived when notified.

The previous "Tri-tone" is very loud, dating back to the birth of a Mac player SoundJam MP in 1998, which has been the default ringtone since its launch on behalf of the iPhone in early 2007.

The new "bounce" has also been welcomed by many users, but many people's feedback is that the "bounce" sound is too low, it is more like a subtle combination, with some reverberation echoes.

Users reported that with the iPhone in their pocket, the "bounce" ringtone had a weaker perception of the user than the "three-tone", so that some key notifications were missed. In addition, the associated tactile vibrations are weaker and more difficult to feel.
