The documents show that Microsoft was not optimistic about the game "Baird Gate 3" at first.

CTOnews.com, September 20 (Xinhua)-- Game media Polygon recently disclosed an internal Microsoft document for May 2022, in which Microsoft expressed its views on the "Baird Gate 3" game developed by Larian Studios.

Microsoft said in the document that the "Baird Gate 3" game could be added to the Xbox Game Pass service, but at the bottom of the list, and labeled the game "second-run Stadia PC RPG" (the second round of Stadia PC RPG games).

CTOnews.com has previously reported that Microsoft has introduced the cost of some of its debut into Game Pass third-party works, which costs $5 million (currently about 36.5 million yuan) for the Baird Gate 3 game.

Considering that some of these games are not yet available on Game Pass, these cost figures may only be Microsoft's expectations, not the actual price paid.

After its release, the game Baird Gate 3 is still the second most popular game on Steam, and its sales are still in the top 10 in terms of services.

At present, Microsoft has seriously underestimated the game "Baird Gate 3", Larian distribution director Michael Douse responded: "others held the same view before," there is no data available to tell anyone how the game will perform.
