CTOnews.com, September 20, Intel unveiled a notebook with a Lunar Lake processor at the Innovation 2023 conference that opened last night, in addition to announcing the launch of the Core Ultra mobile processor on December 14.

Lunar Lake is Intel's unreleased 16th-generation processor, and Intel announced at the press conference that its follow-up product, codenamed Panther Lake, will be released in 2025.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger demonstrated the local AI reasoning work on this laptop with a Lunar Lake processor, which can generate a Taylor Swift-style music in just a few seconds.

Gelsinger admitted during the speech that the laptop currently looks ugly and is only used for product demonstration, and the official version will be released in 2024.

CTOnews.com Note: Lunar Lake will use Lion Cove high-performance kernel and Skymont energy-efficient kernel, produced by Intel 18A (1.8nm) process, but the number of cores and related specifications cannot be confirmed at this time.

The company also officially announced that the new Panther Lake series of processors will begin production in the first quarter of 2024. However, the chips will not be on sale until 2025. These processors will use Intel's 18A process technology (1.8nm level).
